I’ve owned this domain for over a decade, but decided just a couple of days ago to set the site up as a blog with the purpose of encouraging civil discourse by engaging with people who agree, disagree, and agree to disagree based on research and facts.
In others words, bring the receipts and we can talk. My goal is to encourage informed debate.
I started my Facebook page late last night, and this morning started following a few different sources so that I could ensure that I was exposed to different viewpoints. I selected some opposing news sources, and then selected the History Channel FB page in order to open up historical perspectives.
And through the History FB page, I discovered that today is the anniversary of the mass suicide at Jonestown.
It seems appropriate to take this opportunity to launch this blog. I wasn’t really quite ready to “go live” yet, but sometimes, there is a sign.
I will provoke, and I will include sources. I encourage you do do the same.
